What the critics say...
"Have you ever read a book that
truly enlightens? And done so
when the subject covered is one
that you've been debating, with
yourself or others, of late? Creator
is difficult to sum up in a few
paragraphs for its ultimate message
is one that requires the experience
of a life lived, or in the
least a life with many decades of
experience.
The summary on the back of
the book sums up what the book
is about, but fails miserably to
describe what the book will reveal.
M. A. Hills has scribed not
only a highly entertaining story,
but one that also touches on the
human soul, the human condition,
and the human need for understanding.
And it is also so much
more than that. To read and grasp
the full meaning of Creator is to
move one step closer to understanding
one's self. A bold claim,
I know, but one that anyone who
has read the book will surely support.
If you have an interest in
grasping the meaning of life, if
you have an interest in expanding
the concept of why then you
should read this book. And if neither
of these two concepts interests
you, you should still read this
book. I honestly rank it among the
best reads of my entire life."
Humanity under a microscope
Creator is one of those books that could be read by 1,000 people and be interpreted in 1,000 different ways. I certainly have my own interpretation of it. The book pokes fun at humanity's vagaries and trivialities with well-honed sarcasm, giving to moments of knowing smiles.
"Creator is a rollicking, epic novel that's a combination of history, fantasy and satire. It's fast-paced, deliriously funny story that will keep you guessing from one page to the next, interweaving the profound and the profane and leading to a climatic ending that will keep you on the edge of your seat!"
"Every page is an adventure, every character is a real figure in front of you, every backround is a rembrandt painted before your eyes. this is one of the most entertaining fantasy books i have ever read. the scale and proportions are humungous and the descriptions are delightful and lingering. i would recomend this book to anyone who loves fantasy and the ancient world.
Yes, Creator is mighty entertaining. It's hard to put down. The style is magnificent.
The author must have researched the roman thing quite heavily; the details and
descriptions are incredible. The characters and places leap onto your coffee table
and do their thing in front of you. Really, really great work to be proud of!"

"Creator is not only a fantastic story, but it also awakens in us a consciousness that we are all creators of our own realties."
Daniela
There's a deeper meaning
Creator is historical fantasy at its best, it fits into a niche, but at the same time it transcends genres. It awakens something universal, and is as modern as can be. It belongs to the paradigm shift that is now taking place at all levels of science and religion, because the deeper meaning in it is all about creating reality, of the infinite magic of our thoughts, of the quantum, unified field of expanded consciousness ( yes I have read What the Bleep Do We Know).
It's all about possibilities. It's all about the imagination; about the power of passion, about the folly of religion, about our desires created by our emotions, and how they make us prisoners. It's about progress too, about the future, and our lack to believe in it. It's also about god, and false gods, and the folly of man, the things that we know, which the gods do not, about the meaning of paradise, and where it can be found on earth. I loved it!
